The Laboratory Animal and Research Unit (Animal House) was established in 1993 to provide a controlled and supportive environment for conducting research involving laboratory animals. The unit supplies and breeds animals such as rats and mice, ensuring the purity of their strains and maintaining their health and welfare. It also houses rabbits and poultry, all of which receive comprehensive veterinary care from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
