Training and Capacity Building Section
The Training and Capacity Building Section is responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and coordinating training programs and activities aimed at enhancing the skills, knowledge, and capacities of local communities and stakeholders. The Section assesses training needs related to sustainable development projects and develops targeted training programs to address those needs, contributing to effective capacity building and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
Main Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and implementing training and capacity-building programs based on the nature and requirements of projects to be implemented, and developing practical training solutions to address developmental challenges faced by local communities in support of sustainable development.
Coordinating training programs and activities, including the preparation and selection of trainers and participants, arranging training venues, and ensuring the availability of all logistical and technical resources required for the successful delivery of training activities.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through collecting participant feedback and assessing the impact of training on project objectives and stakeholders.
Collaborating with local communities, donors, and stakeholders to identify priority areas where training can enhance performance and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals, and developing programs that respond to those identified needs.
Maintaining comprehensive records of training activities and participant databases, and preparing periodic reports on training effectiveness, including recommendations for continuous improvement.
Managing training program budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring that expenditures remain within the approved budgets allocated to each project.
Keeping abreast of emerging trends and best practices in community-based sustainable development initiatives and integrating these practices into training programs to enhance relevance, quality, and impact.
