Studies and Research Section
The Studies and Research Section is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing studies and research activities, as well as overseeing data collection, analysis, and management for various research projects at the Center for Sustainable Development Studies and Technology within the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
The Section works closely with researchers, data collectors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure that studies and research activities are conducted in a scientific, systematic, and ethical manner, while maintaining high standards of data quality throughout all stages of the research process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Developing research plans for studies and research projects, including defining research questions, data sources, sampling strategies, data collection methods, and quality assurance procedures.
Coordinating research activities, including scheduling studies, training researchers, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards.
Ensuring data quality throughout the research lifecycle, including data cleaning, verification, and validation.
Managing data storage and security, including organizing and maintaining research data files, ensuring data confidentiality and privacy, and performing regular data backups.
Conducting data analysis using appropriate software and statistical methods, and preparing analytical reports and data visualizations to present research findings.
Collaborating with researchers, project managers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of research activities with project objectives and institutional priorities.
Coordinating research operations, including task assignment, capacity building, and ensuring adherence to ethical and legal requirements.
Staying informed of current trends and best practices in research methodologies and integrating them into ongoing and future research initiatives.

خلصت ورقة السياسات بعنوان (أسباب عزوف الشباب في محافظة إربد عن العمل في منشآت مدينة الحسن الصناعية) أعدها مركز دراسات التنمية المستدامة والتكنولوجيا في جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية بالتعاون مع مؤسسة عبد الحميد شومان الى مجموعة من التوصيات قد تعمل على تصويب الاختلالات التي تشكل تحديا امام عملية جذب الشباب المتعطل للعمل في القطاع الصناعي في مدينة الحسن الصناعية. |
