​The Solid Waste Management Hackathon, supported by the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), concluded on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects, as part of Solid Waste Management project. Participating teams presented their presentations to a five-member jury: Prof. Muhannad Qwaider, Director of the Center from the University; Dr. Wafaa Al-Taan, Deputy Director of the Center; Prof. Hani Abu Qdais, and Salua Moussawel and Pieter Hennipman from GIZ. The total number of projects submitted was 12.

At the end of the presentations, the jury provided advice and guidance to all participants, helping them direct their creative energies in the right direction. Certificates were awarded to the teams.​
