Norwegian Refugee Council Delegation Visits Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST)

The Vice President of JUST, the Director of the Energy Training Program (IPDCP) accredited by NABCEP (American), Dr. Mohammed Al-Abini met the Norwegian Refugee Council Delegation.
During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on the programs and courses offered in the field of energy and approved by NABCEP, the possibility of adapting them to the needs of the local market and the target segment, the possibility of arranging short courses that meet the needs of the student population of refugees and Jordanian students that do not require General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) and can be provided in Arabic, and the possibility of giving courses in other fields offered by JUST through the Consultancy Center.
The two sides agreed to submit projects targeting an important segment of Jordanian youth and refugees in coordination with the Norwegian Council and the IPDCP project to provide appropriate services which ensure their involvement in the Jordanian labor market and in their home country in cooperation between the IPDCP and the Engineering Consulting Center.
