Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), to welcome you all as you attend the 5th JUST Paramedicine International Conference: "Working Together to Reduce Risk". The conference will be held from 13 – 14 March 2023 in Jordan. We are most honoured to organize this conference in partnership with Monash University, Australia.
This year's conference will include various subthemes, including the impact of covid-19 on health care, prehospital trauma care, out-of-hospital resuscitation, Injury Prevention, use of artificial intelligence in emergency care, and Disaster Management.
The conference's main goal is to motivate participants and their institutions to improve the paramedicine profession and expand out-of-hospital research in Jordan and the region. The conference will be a great opportunity for emergency care and paramedicine leaders and professionals to collaborate and share their experiences.
We will endeavour to provide the best through evidence-based and experience-driven presentations and workshops. International and national speakers and prominent figures in the medical emergency care field will participate in this conference.
I would like to thank all the speakers, sponsors and attendees for participating in this conference. Our combined efforts are crucial in shaping this unique profession's future.
Welcome everyone and we hope to continue providing unforgettable professional, educational, social and cultural experiences to all participants.
We look forward to seeing you all soon in Jordan.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the 5th International Paramedic Conference at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). This year's conference is focused on "reducing risks" - which are faced by paramedics and ambulance service providers worldwide. The conference will provide many opportunities to hear from local and international experts in paramedicine and out-of-hospital care.
We are once again privileged that Monash University through its Department of Paramedicine at Monash University is a co-sponsor of this conference and equally proud of our longstanding relationships with JUST.
I hope that you will find this conference to be professionally helpful and that it will provide you with opportunities for networking and building new relationships.
