The Water Diplomacy Center held its first Council meeting of 2024 on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ahmed Al-Ajlouni, Secretary of the Council Committee, and attended by members of the Council from inside and outside the university.

The Center's Council meets annually or when needed, in order to ensure the university's participation in setting the general policy of the center. The Council also aims to strengthen the activities of the center with public and private sector institutions inside and outside Jordan and to strengthen relations with similar centers abroad.​
