Welcome to the 8th International Medical Conference of the College of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and King Abdulla University Hospital (KAUH). I feel most honored and privileged to take on the role of Chairman of the Conference, and I hope to build on the successes and accomplishments of the past conferences.

Our main theme of the conference is: "Continuous Medical Education: Fostering the Young generation". The College of Medicine at JUST remains a leader in medical education, be it locally, regionally, or internationally. Our state-of-the-art hospital, KAUH, is the venue of the most advanced and up-to-date clinical services, in addition to top-notch medical research. With the active participation of our partners in the Ministry of Health, the Royal Armed Forces, and the private medical sector, we aim in this event at the promoting the culture of continuous medical education. This year's conference specifically aspires to highlight the pivotal role of our undergraduate medical students, graduate students, and medical residents in the processes of medical education and scientific research taking place in our institution and its affiliations. Scientific sessions, training workshops, and poster presentations have all been planned for these purposes. Moreover, several keynote speakers and prominent international figures in the various medical fields have been cordially invited to participate in the conference, aiming at an unforgettable educational and cultural experience for all participants.

In addition to the major scientific events, several social and cultural activities are scheduled in the conference, including re-union party for JUST and KAUH medical graduates, a dinner gala, and the regular lively opening and closing ceremonies.
