The department of health management and policy was established in 1999. The departmental primary responsibilities are teaching, research and community services. The Department offers both bachelor's in health management and policy and Master's Degrees in healthcare management and quality. There are 168 students currently enrolled in the Department, out of which, 54 are in the master's program.
The department has 6 distinguished faculty members specialized in various areas in management of healthcare services. Scientists in this Department use modern techniques and focus on major issues and problems relating to quality, access, and utilization, of health care services and organizations.
