In order to achieve the mission and vision of the Department of pharmaceutical technology, the following objectives obtain priority in the department
- Recruitment of qualified, highly trained faculty members in the areas of physical pharmacy, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical technology, industrial pharmacy, pharmaceutical biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical microbiology and pharmaceutical biotechnology.

Establishment of creative and nurturing academic environment which encourage faculty members to perform state of the research and pharmaceutical training. This is acheived by properly supplying the Department with research and teaching equipment and tools; by subscribing to respectful pharmaceutical databases and journals; and by enriching the library by obtaining latest publications in the area.
- Encouraging the interaction among the Departments members, Faculty of Pharmacy members, members of other Faculties, other universities pharmacy faculty members, pharmaceutical industry members, regulatory agencies members, Jordanian pharmaceutical association members or any agency members interested in the pharmaceutical arena in Jordan or abroad by holding or participating in scientific seminars, meetings, scientific days, workshops and conferences on topics related to pharmaceutical products in a way that addresses the needs of the attendants and participants.
- Conducting independent and collaborative research in areas related to the development of pharmaceutical products or its manufacturing.
- Participating in continuous education courses provided to practicing pharmacists.
- Actively pursuing extramural funding to help in the advancement of pharmaceutical research and education.
- Participation in Health Regulatory agencies committees to elevate the standards of registered pharmaceutical products.
- Participation in High Education committees to elevate the standards of pharmacy education in Jordan.
- Providing services to the industry and the community by participating in sponsored research projects, consultation or development of new technologies aimed at addressing the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and the community.

We expect our bachelor of pharmacy graduates in their first 3-5 years after their graduation to:
A. To have the expertise and knowledge needed to be involved in different pharmaceutical care settings in community pharmacies, industrial sector, pharmaceutical sales and marketing, and drug legislations (Jordanian Food and Drug Administration)
B. To have the ability for continuous self-education of new trends emerging in different fields of pharmacy through different available resources.
C. To have commitment and adhesion to code of ethics used in pharmacy practice.
D. To have the ability of working together with other members working at hospitals, industry, and community pharmacies.
E. To have the leadership skills required for practicing pharmacy profession
