- Highly qualified pharmacy graduates capable of performing duties in areas related to pharmaceutical products and their manufacturing through properly understanding the design and factors leading to obtain high quality, safe and efficacious Pharmaceutical products.
- To provide the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory agencies with highly competent pharmaceutical scientists through the graduate studies programs in the Department.
- To provide state-of-the-art consultations, seminars, workshops, conferences and pharmaceutical services to the pharmaceutical industry and the community.
Pharmacy Program outcomes (POs)
A. During their five years of study, the students receive theoretical and practical knowledge through taking courses offered by the three pharmacy departments in topics related to drug delivery, pharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics among others.
B. Students are given the chance of practical training in community pharmacies for 8 consecutive weeks during which they get an idea of the different generics of medications available in the market
C. The syndicate of pharmacy in Jordan requires students with bachelor of pharmacy to finish 1440 hours of training in community and outpatient pharmacies
D. Students are given courses related to pharmaceutical practice, marketing and ethics related to pharmacy profession
E. Communications skills are taught to students and enforced during their training in hospitals and community pharmacies
F. Volunteering in providing free pharmaceutical services to local community is encouraged which motivates communication skills of students
G. Students are guided to use different search engines used find up to date information related to different pharmaceutical sciences
