Since its establishment back in 1998, the department has committed to maintaining excellence in teaching, research, development, and community service. The department offers an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science (BSc.) program in Computer Engineering, in which the graduate will be able to pursue a wide range of jobs that are, but not limited to:

- Web Designer.
- Graphic Designer.
- Programmer.
- Network Engineer.
- Maintenance Engineer.
- Software Designer and Developer
The department also offers a Master of Science (MSc.) program wherein students can develop their research expertise and creativity by pushing the boundaries of knowledge and skills learned in their BSc. program, through a research thesis supported by a set of advanced courses and seminars. Our faculty research involvements include Computer Architecture, Network Security, Wireless Networking, Distributed Systems, Embedded Systems, VLSI, Real-Time Systems, Modeling and Simulation, Fuzzy Logic, and Software Engineering.
