The course aims to introduce students to the discipline and science of Natural Resources Management. The course will emphasize an integrated approach to natural resources management in which ecological as well as social (economics and politics) factors will be examined. The social dimension of natural resources management will be the focus of this class. The course will attempt to promote stewardship of our natural resources and instigate ecologically-sound cultural habits.
