Malak I. Naji, Ph. D.
Malak Naji is currently an Associate
Professor in the
Mechanical
Engineering Department at Jordan University of Science and
Technology where she has been a faculty member since 1998. She
served as the vice dean for the
faculty of engineering
from 2017 to 2021, and was in
charge of engineering programs accreditation. From 2006 to 2009,
she held the ME department head position
Malak completed her Ph.D. at
Concordia University, Canada. Her research interests lie in the area of
applied mechanics, and renewable energy. She has
collaborated with researchers in several other disciplines
of mechanical engineering, particularly composite materials,
thermal stresses and Macro-and Microscale Heat Transfer.
Malak has coauthored numerous highly cited journal publications and conference articles in the aforementioned topics, and has received several awards including Hashim Hijjawi Award for applied sciences.
