Dr.Rjoop is an assistant professor of anatomic and clinical pathology at School of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan and a consultant pathologist at king Abdullah University hospital. Specializing in transfusion medicine and hematopathology. Her current clinical interests include therapeutic apheresis, cellular therapy collection and multiple myeloma.
Dr. Rjoop previously served as an instructor in the Collage of Medicine at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and earlier as an assistant professor in the College of Medicine at Yarmouk University in Jordan. She received her medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan and completed her anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then completed fellowship in hematopathology and trained in Transfusion medicine and blood bank at UAMS (where she also served as lab and pathology service line junior director). Prior to residency training in USA, Dr. Rjoop earned her Jordanian board in anatomic pathology after four years of residency at King Abdullah University Hospital in Jordan. She has many publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
Dr. Rjoop has participated in many internal inspections and external CAP inspection as a team member. Dr. Rjoop is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology, with subspecialty certification in Hematopathology. Dr. Rjoop is a Fellow of the Collage of American Pathologists (CAP) and a member of several professional societies including ASCP and AABB.
