Under the patronage of the President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Professor Khaled Al-Salem, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organized the Second Clinical Student Conference 2026 under the theme:

Veterinary Students' Innovation Symposium

The conference was held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Ibn Sina Auditorium, with broad participation from faculty members, students, professionals in the veterinary field, and students' families.

Professor Muna Abu Dalo, representing the conference patron, inaugurated the event and emphasized the importance of student conferences in refining students' scientific and research skills, enhancing their abilities in innovation and critical thinking, and preparing qualified veterinary professionals capable of keeping pace with modern developments in the veterinary sector.

Professor Dr. Myassar Alekish explained that the conference reflects the faculty's vision of linking academic knowledge with practical application. She noted that the event provides a scientific platform through which students can present their projects and research ideas, exchange experiences, and engage in an academic environment that fosters creativity and excellence. She also affirmed the faculty's commitment to supporting student initiatives that develop research, presentation, and teamwork skills.

The conference included scientific sessions and student presentations covering a variety of modern topics, including artificial intelligence in veterinary medicine, advanced treatment technologies, zoonotic diseases, and the health of horses, poultry, and companion animals, in addition to discussions on professional challenges and ways to improve clinical performance using modern technologies.

The conference also witnessed distinguished attendance from students' families, reflecting the strong relationship between the university, its students, and their families, and highlighting the importance of family support in enhancing students' academic and professional success and excellence.

At the conclusion of the conference, the organizing committees and participants were honored in recognition of their efforts in ensuring the success of the event, amid praise for the outstanding scientific level of the student presentations and the ambition and awareness demonstrated by the students, reflecting a promising future for the veterinary profession.
