Jordan University of Science and Technology held a specialized course titled “Teaching the German Language for Medical Practice Purposes”, offered through the Language Center with the participation of a number of students from the university’s Faculty of Medicine.

Professor Mohammad Ibnian, Director of the Language Center, affirmed that the Center is increasingly committed to offering function-oriented courses that enhance participants’ chances of success in medical licensing examinations and strengthen their competitiveness. He noted that this course is particularly beneficial for medical students, as it opens avenues for them to pursue graduate studies in various medical specialties.
Dr. Ibnian also explained that holding this course aligns with the Language Center’s mission to offer purposeful programs that provide high-quality educational training in different languages, supported by qualified instructors with the necessary expertise.
The course focuses on training students in medical terminology and its correct pronunciation through interactive visual presentations designed to develop various skills, such as speaking and listening, among others.
Upon successfully completing all requirements, participants receive a certificate at the end of the course.
