Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences organizes an awareness event on cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Science and Technology organized an awareness event entitled “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.”It aimed to spread awareness of the importance of rapid intervention in emergency situations, and to enhance students’ skills in this vital field.
The event included a group of scientific and awareness-raising sessions presented by students specializing in Paramedics, in addition to practical presentations and field simulations of the most prominent emergency procedures, which contribute to developing their applied capabilities and qualifying them to deal with critical cases.
The event also included an educational and awareness exhibition presented by the students with creativity and distinction, and included introductory sections on cardiopulmonary resuscitation methods and the importance of spreading first-aid culture in society.
Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Professor Salim Bani Hani, praised the efforts of the students and those in charge of the event, appreciating their keenness to organize specific activities that enhance the applied aspect of the educational process and contribute to community service by spreading health awareness and basic first aid skills.He stressed that the faculty continues to support student initiatives that develop their practical skills and keep pace with the requirements of the labor market.
At the conclusion of the event, those in charge of the organization expressed their thanks to all the participants, stressing the faculty’s keenness to support student activities aimed at enhancing practical skills and serving the local community through education and field training.
