The Deanship of Academic Development and Quality Assurance at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) organized a two-day training workshop titled “Strategic Planning and Change Management in Academic Institutions", held on Monday and Tuesday, October 6–7, 2025. The workshop is part of a series of training programs accredited for academic promotion and conference participation purposes.

The event was opened by Professor Maher Tadros, Dean of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, who emphasized the importance of strategic planning as a key tool for achieving sustainable development in higher education institutions. He also highlighted the vital role of change management in enhancing academic and administrative performance in alignment with the university's vision and mission.

The workshop covered a range of topics, including the fundamentals of strategic planning, stages of plan development, tools for internal and external environment analysis, mechanisms of institutional change management, and challenges of implementation within academic contexts.

Participants actively engaged in discussions and shared ideas that contribute to strengthening strategic and administrative planning at both the departmental and college levels.
