Announcement of the Winners of the Khalil Al-Salem Agricultural Award 2025
The results of the Khalil Al-Salem Agricultural Award 2025 were announced during a ceremony held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the University of Petra, under the patronage of former Prime Minister Dr. Adnan Badran, and attended by distinguished academics and researchers.
The award winners are:
Prof. Ammar Ali Albalasmeh, for the best scientific research in Water Resources and Conservation
Prof. Bilal Suleiman Obeidat, for the best scientific research in Plant Production and Protection, Animal Production and Protection, or Nutrition and Food Processing
Prof. Taha Al-Rababah, for the best scientific research in Food Security.
This recognition underscores the vital role of scientific research in advancing innovative and sustainable solutions to agricultural, water, and food challenges in the region.
