Jordan University of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Health are discussing issues of practicing the profession for graduates of applied medical sciences

The Vice President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Professor Bashir Khasawneh, and the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Professor Nihaya Al-Shayab, received a delegation from the Jordanian Ministry of Health, headed by Dr. Ikhlas Jamous, Director of the Directorate of Health Professions and Institutions Licensing, and the membership of Dr. Alia Al-Sayeh, Head of the Health Professions Licensing Department, and Dr. Ghada Amer, Head of the Committees and Examinations Division.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to practicing the profession for graduates of applied medical sciences specializations were discussed, in addition to discussing the challenges facing graduates and students expected to enroll in the new academic programs at the university, most notably the Bachelor of Clinical Psychology program, and the requirements and procedures it requires for practicing the profession.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Khasawneh stressed the university's keenness to create an academic and practical environment that enables its students and graduates to integrate efficiently into the labor market, noting that cooperation with the Ministry of Health represents an essential pillar for ensuring that academic programs are compatible with legislation and regulations for practicing health professions.

This meeting comes within the framework of the university's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation with the Ministry of Health, which contributes to aligning its academic outputs with the needs and requirements of the national labor market.
