The Jordan University of Science and Technology inaugurated the 13th annual medical campaign

The Jordan University of Science and Technology inaugurated the 13th annual medical campaign on Tuesday August 5th ,2025. The campaign was organized by the Medical Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the College of Medicine, with the active participation of university students and volunteer medical staff, and a large attendance from the university family.

 

The campaign aims to raise health awareness among university students and staff by offering a range of free medical tests and services, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound suturing, smoking awareness, mental health, early cancer detection, muscle and fat mass measurement, diabetes, blood pressure, vision, blood type, and dental checkups, in addition to specialized awareness stations in a number of health fields.

 

Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Majed M. Masadeh, emphasized that this campaign embodies the university's awareness-raising and humanitarian mission and reflects its ongoing support for purposeful student activities that contribute to honing students' skills and fostering their spirit of initiative and responsibility

Professor Masadeh added that the Deanship of Student Affairs is keen to sponsor initiatives that combine theoretical and practical aspects and contribute to serving the university community.

 

This campaign is part of a series of initiatives that promote the concept of community service within the university and emphasize the importance of early detection and prevention in enhancing public health and quality of life on campus.
