The College of Architecture and Design hosted the closing event for the "Designing for Archaeological Sites" project on May 30, 2024.

During the event, students from the College of Architecture and Design presented their prototypes for interpretive signage panels designed for the archaeological site of Umm Qais. These prototypes showcased innovative approaches to enhancing visitor experiences and providing valuable information about the site.

This project was a collaborative effort involving the Goethe-Institut/takween, the German Protestant Institute for Archaeology, and UNESCO, in partnership with Menalab, the College of Architecture and Design at Jordan University of Science and Technology, and the Department of Antiquities.
