Students of the Faculty of Computer Information Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology achieved two places (first repeat) and seventh place globally, in the competitions of the Arab Conference on Information Security in its seventh session for the year 2023, which was held in Cairo, after the participation of more than 735 teams from more than 80 countries around the world.

The second-place winning team from the university included students: Muhammad Al-Falaila, Muhammad Amir, and Yanal Abu Siny, and the seventh-place winning team consisted of students: Hashem Al-Salhi, Laith Al-Gharaibeh, and Ayoub Al-Khasawneh.
