The President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, received in his office at the university the Regional Director for the Middle East Region at the International Accreditation Corporation QS, Mr. Ashawn Fernandez.

During the meeting, they reviewed the university's efforts to achieve its strategy in the global axis, and the progress made by the university in this field through its occupation of advanced positions at the local, regional and global levels in many prestigious international rankings.

Prof. El-Salem indicated that the university is working within an action plan that includes research and scientific activities, through qualitative short and long-term international partnerships that enhance the scientific status of the university and the quality of its outputs.

El-Salem added that the university is making concerted efforts to continuously develop and provide quality academic programs through research and innovation that helps in achieving quantum leaps in international rankings, stressing the university's interest in strengthening the relationship with QS as one of the international rankings that enhance the university's position in this classification.
