Jordan University of Science and Technology hosts a scientific workshop on pharmacovigilance
November 23 /// Jordan University of Science and Technology hosted a scientific workshop on pharmacovigilance at King Abdullah University Hospital, in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization. The workshop coincides with the Global Pharmacovigilance Week.
During the inauguration of the workshop, the President of the University, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, stressed the importance of participatory work between national institutions and international organizations as a global umbrella, with the aim of adapting and overcoming difficulties and challenges and turning them into opportunities, adding that what our contemporary world is witnessing in terms of phenomena and cross-border issues, and rapid changes in light of a revolution driven by the technological factor, which is inclusive of all fields of knowledge and science, has imposed on us a sense of shared responsibility to face challenges.
