An Orientation Meeting for Kuwaiti students Studying at Jordan University of Science and Technology
Jordan University of Science and Technology organized an orientation meeting for Kuwaiti students studying at the university. In the meeting, which was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, and the Head of the Kuwaiti Cultural Office, Prof. Hammoud Fahad Al-Qashaan, the Vice President of the University, Prof. Suhad Al-Jundi, and number of deans of faculties and the General Registrar, a number of important issues, especially those concerned with the teaching process were discussed.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. El-Salem welcomed the new Kuwaiti students and the attending parents to their university, “Jordan Science and Technology University” stressing that the university is one of the most important Jordanian scientific centers as described by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, and has an infrastructure that distinguishes it from other Jordanian universities, and that it is an example for excellence since it includes the elite of the elite of cadres and students.
In his part, Prof. Al-Qashaan praised the efforts made by the university administration in supporting Kuwaiti students and providing them with all forms of care and attention, and striving to improve their scientific performance and academic achievement in order to prepare them for a bright future to serve themselves and advance their country, praising the university’s distinguished level and progress in international rankings, which match the prestigious universities in the world.
