JUST Celebration on renewing the ISO certificate and transferring to the quality standard (ISO 9001:2015)
The president of Jordan University of Science and Technology Prof. Saeb Khresat patronized JUST official celebration for the latest achievement of acquiring the official certificate of the most-up-to-date certificate of the new ISO quality assurance standard (ISO 9001: 2015) from the international quality provider Lloyd's Register office in Jordan.
In his address on this occasion, Prof. Saeb Khresat said that achieving the ISO 9001:2015 certificate is a confirmation of JUST's leadership and excellence in quality assurance practices. Prof. Khresat, commending all staff and units who participated in this achievement, affirmed that the certificate renewal and the transition to the new standard (ISO 9001: 2015) is the result of cumulative efforts of the university's staff and associates. He said that this achievement would not have been possible without the continuous efforts of the university staff since its inception to promote the university, to continue the progress and to achieve the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II in a distinct and pioneering higher education in Jordan.
Eng. Muhannad Al-Kayed, LRQA Business Manager at Lloyd's Register office in Jordan congratulated JUST for this achievement and commended its leadership for supporting a culture of quality at JUST.
On his turn, the director of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at JUST, Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan, stressed the pivotal role played by the senior management at the university, as well as the staff of the Academic Development Center for their commitment and dedication to complete this task tirelessly.
At the conclusion of the celebration, which was attended by the vice-presidents, faculty deans, unit directors, representative of the units/departments/centers, university professors and administrative staff as well as students, Prof. Khresat handed the ISO 9001:2015 certificates to units' representatives who achieved this accomplishment, besides granting certificates of appreciation to the ADQAC staff: Dr Mohammad Obeidat, Eng Osama Balsmeh and Ms. Haal Musleh for their distinguished efforts in this regard.
