Princess Mona Al - Hussein Patronizes the World Conference of Nursing Faculty in Jordan University of Science and Technology

Her Royal Highness Princess Mona Al- Hussein patronized the World Nursing Conference, which was organized by the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Science and Technology. The conference was attended by HE Dr. Ghazi Al Zabin, the Minister of Health, Prof. Saeb Khreisat, the president of the university, and with a broad participation of the Royal Medical Services, the Ministry of Health, and the private sector.
Prof. Saeb Khreisat said that the conference was a continuation of the great role played by the university to achieve His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision of building a true partnership between the university, the health sector and the private sector. Noting that the university has achieved advanced rankings in the international rankings, where it won the first place locally and the fourth among the Arab universities, and recently it was among the best 400 universities in the world.
Khreisat added that this conference will host a number of international and local speakers representing health and academic sectors to enrich the scientific program of the conference and to enhance the role of the workforce in nursing to achieve the goals of the World Health Program in achieving the goals of comprehensive health coverage and sustainable development. 

The head of the conference, Dr. Huda Gharaibeh, said that the conference will discuss a number of topics, including the importance of health decisions and the promotion of nursing practices based on evidence to achieve the optimal care and the security for communities. She also added that the conference seeks to exchange the scientific expertise and improve the health at the global level by raising the level of competence of nursing staff around the world and influencing the policymakers to support nurses.

It is worth to mention that the conference hosted speakers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Qatar and Oman
