A Cooperation Research between Jordan University of Science and Technology and the University of Illinois
Prof. Mohammed Al-Ebini, Acting President of Jordan University of Science and Technology met in his office Prof. Muneer Nayefeh from the University of Illinois.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of professors, deans and specialized academies in the university, discussed aspects of cooperation between the University of Science and Technology and the University of Illinois in several areas.
The speakers focused on a number of important issues that institute a common ground for activating the cooperation between them, such as the launch of a number of joint doctoral programs, the establishment of the University of Illinois Graduate Club in Jordan to be based at the University of Science and Technology, and activate a cooperation agreement between the two universities in a number of research and academic fields, which is leased to benefit the university's progress.
from his part, Prof. Muneer Nayefeh stressed the importance of working together with Jordan University of Science and Technology, because of its distinguished academic reputation at the regional and the global levels, as well as its capabilities and expertise. Prof. Nayefeh congratulated the University for its inclusion in the list of 351-400 universities worldwide according to the World Times ranking in London recently.
It is worth noting that the two universities have enjoyed a cooperation for many years and a new memorandum of understanding will be signed in the near future to mark the launch of the joint program of research and the teaching programs between the universities.
