Students of the Faculty of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology achieve high admission rates in residency programs in the United States of America
The percentage of the students of the Faculty of Medicine (at Jordan University of Science and Technology) who were admitted to American universities reached 60% of the applicants for residency programs for the year 2018.
Professor Saeb Khreisat, the President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, said that the success of the students of the Faculty of Medicine in being admitted in various residency programs in the United States of America – in distinguished universities and hospitals in different disciplines – was the result of the students' excellence. This confirms the high competitiveness and high level of our students and graduates in addition to the quality and universality of academic programs and study plans offered by the Faculty of Medicine at the university.
Prof. Khalid El-Salem, the Vice President of the University, emphasized the fact that these results are a continuation of the success of the graduates of the Faculty of Medicine at the University, whether inside or outside the Kingdom, and they will be a catalyst for further efforts to reach the highest international levels in favor of our dear homeland.
Dr. Wael Hayajneh, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, said that the College of Medicine is continuously and consistently performing its mission towards its students and society under the supervision of a distinguished team of faculty members. This has recently been realized in a jump forward on the ranking ladder of the medical colleges in the world. It took its place in the 401-450 category after it entered the category 451 - 500 last year according to the QS World University Rankings.
