As a representative of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Karem Alzoubi, the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Mohammed Al-saqqar initiated the activities of the health educational day held by Doctor of Pharmacy towards optimal pharmacological care campaign at Akraba secondary school for girls. The representative of the Director of Education Eng. Amer Alsayyah and a group of faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmacy were in the event, which aimed to serve the local community at Akraba.

The activities of the day included seminars about common health issues such as osteoporosis, healthy nutrition, breast cancer, hair loss, tooth decay, its treatment and prevention. The scientific contents of the lectures was supervised and reviewed by faculty member at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Nusseibah Al-Nimrawi. Additionally, awareness stations for students and parents on diabetes and blood pressure were available as well as free tests blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index. Free medical samples were also distributed.
