The Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan Visits JUST

The President of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, (JUST) Porf. Saeb Khraisat met with the Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Andy Rachmiyato and the accompanying delegation of the President of the Indonesian University of Brawijaya and the deans of the different faculties within the university.

The meeting, which was attended by Vice-Chairmen Prof. Sarhan Haddad and Prof. Mohammed Ibbini, focused on discussing the cooperation and coordination between the University and Indonesian academic institutions in various fields, especially in postgraduate studies and scientific research.

During the meeting, Prof. Khraisat gave a brief review about the history and achievements of the University, as well as its emphasis on the importance of internationalization and the promotion of international cooperation for the future strategy of the University.

The visit comes as a result of the memorandum of understanding that was signed between JUST and the Brawijay university, which aims to promote academic cooperation between the two instituions.

Dr. Rashmiato highlighted the importance of building strong partnerships between Jordanian and Indonesian universities and congratulated the University on its recent achievements and reputation as a leading academic institution in the region.

The Ambassador and the accompanying delegation visited the solar energy farm at the university as well as the King Abdullah University Hospital where they met with the Director General of the hospital Prof. Ismail Matalqa, who demonstrated the role of the hospital in serving the university and the community in Jordan as one of the most important medical institutions in the Kingdom and the region.
