The British International Accreditation (ASIC) for the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, at Jordan University of Science and Technology

 The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Jordan University of Science and Technology has obtained the British International Accreditation (ASIC) as a Premier University faculty for all its specialties.

This achievement came  after a visit by a delegation from the British International Accreditation (ASIC) headed by Dr. John Wilson and Dr. Lawrence Watson at the beginning of last October after the college had completed all the preparatory stages of Accreditation. During the visit, a series of tours at various laboratories of the college and university facilities, a range of  interviews with students and faculty members and review the study plans for all specialties of the college to ensure that the college meets the accreditation requirements.

The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Mohammed Al-Jarrah said that this accreditation will increase the universality of the college majors and will be positively reflected on the international classification and reputation of the University of Science and Technology and on attracting Arab and foreign students and international competencies that are in line with the University's vision of achieving global reputation.

As a result, Dr. Al Jarrah congratulated the University's family for the achievements made by the University and all the faculty members, faculty, staff and students for their outstanding efforts, continuous work and serious efforts to achieve international academic accreditation in order to achieve excellence and continuous development in an effort to ensure the progress of this achievement for the University.

It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences includes various specialties of the bachelor degree namely physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hearing and speech, medical laboratory sciences, ambulance and emergency, radiation technology, optics, dental technology, supporting dental science. I addition, the faculty allows master's degrees in four-track laboratory medical sciences, physiotherapy and clinical rehabilitation sciences.
