Lecture presented by Dr. Daniel Rowan from Southampton University in JUST

The Department of Speech Therapy and Audiology at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences hosted a scientific lecture titled "A new Arabic speech-in-noise test for young children using an iPad app" by Professor Daniel Rowan from Southampton University/UK on the 18th of October 2017. Proffesor Rowan is the director of both BSc and MSc Audiology programs in Southampton University. In his lecture, Dr. Rowan shared his experiences and ideas about developing and validating a new Arabic version of a speech in noise test that maybe used universally in the Arabic speaking region. Dr. Hana'AlMohammad; the organizer of this activity stated that there are currently no used hearing tests using Arabic speech
