The Faculty of Pharmacy held a Lecture about Clinical Pharmacy Practice in Hospitals
Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Karem Alzoubi, a lecture was held by the Faculty of Pharmacy about the pearls of clinical pharmacy practice within hospitals and other health settings in the Arab world. The Presenter Dr. Loai Saadeh, the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor at Zayed Military Hospital of UAE Military Services, discussed challenges and opportunities in practicing clinical pharmacy in the health system at the Arab world. He also stressed the importance of a number of steps for the career of a clinical pharmacists including the professional interaction with other health team members, and the importance of continually developing new and unique experiences and keeping up-to-date, and finally, being proactive toward establishing cutting-edge services at health setting of the Arab world. The event was attended by faculty members, clinical training preceptors and staff, and a number of final year pharmacy and doctor of pharmacy students.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Karem Alzoubi, indicated that this lecture comes as part of the faculty program for professional development of their faculties and staff, namely, those involved in professional training. It is also consistent with the university policies to enable its faculties and staff.
