A Free Medical Day at Northern Al-Mazar

Jordan University of Science and Technology/JUST  in cooperation  with King Abdullah University Hospital /KAUH  organized a free medical day  at the  Youth Association for Volunteer Work at Northern Al-Mazar  under the patronage of Prof. Omar Al-Jarrah , President of JUST and  Chairman of KAUH  Board of Directors that  aims at providing  medical assistance to more than 800 patients. The event was attended by Dr. Ismael Matalka, General Director of KAUH and Dr. Mohammed Al Jarrah, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the University, and a number of consultants and specialists at the hospital.

Al-Jarrah emphasized  that such activities  come from the University and the hospital  keenness to serve  all segments of civil society as part of their  multiple responsibilities towards the civil  society and  based on their shared responsibility of  providing the  necessary treatments  and all needed health care services for  the community patients.

The event  included diagnosis of various internal diseases and general surgery,  ENT health assessment and examination , eye examination , women's health diagnosis   , diagnosis    of diabetes , blood testing ,  dental technology ,  hearing and speech diagnosis , breast cancer diagnosis  . In addition, the event included the distribution of publications for raising awareness for healthcare.
