Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Karem Al-Zoubi, a group of students of 2015 Pharmacy Doctor program "Glory"  held an educational activity entitled "Glory for Cancer Warriors" in the classroom building where they talked about the most common cancers around the world, the most prominent symptoms, risk factors and treatment for each type. The activity was supervised by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Hamid Al-Qudah from the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences. The activity was attended by professors from the Faculty of Pharmacy and other faculties and departments as well as many students.

Dr. Mohammed Shawaqfeh, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, praised the activity as an initiative of the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy in their early years and encouraged them to engage in extracurricular activities and develop the spirit of volunteering in line with the mission of the Faculty of Pharmacy in particular and the University in general.
The Dean thanked the students for this positive initiative and explained that the Faculty supported and will continue to support the student initiatives in all forms​
