United States Senate Committee on Armed Services Council  Dr. Jonathan Epstein  Visits JUST

A US Delegation headed by  United States Senate Committee on Armed Services Council  Dr. Jonathan Epstein  and members from the U.S.  Department of Defense  and  the U.S.   Department of Energy visited  JUST.

During the visit , Prof. Omar Al-Jarrah , JUST President , presented the university remarkable academic and scientific progress and achievements , its mission, vision and effective strategic plan  , and the expansion of its faculties and research centers and establishing unique academic programs in the regions , including the nuclear engineering program, network security programs and infectious disease and immune deficiency disorders.

The delegation visited  Princess Haya Biotechnology Center/ PHBC  where the Center Director , Dr. Said Jaradat, delivered a presentation about the center and its research and training services offered to the national and  regional organizations  including  important experimental research services  in biotechnology, particularly in the fields of genomics, metabolomics and proteomics. laboratory biosafety and biosecurity .

The delegation were impressed by the university and  its distinguished reputation as well as the research capabilities of PHBC  .
