A series of workshops in First Aid was held by the Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Civil Defense Directorate
The Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Civil Defense Directorate held a series of workshops in First Aid. These workshops included both theoretical education and practical training on first aid procedures including bruises, cuts and punctures, broken bones, soft tissue injuries, breathing emergencies, emergency preparedness, and first aid at home. The workshops were attended by 65 students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, were given by Lieutenant Thabet Abu Naaj from the Civil Defense Directorate.
Professor Karem Alzoubi, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the Civil Defense Directorate, namely, Lieutenant Abu Naaj, for their great cooperation for the success of these workshops. He also indicated that these workshops are in consciences with JUST policy to engage students in extracurricular activities, improve students' skills, and widen their scope of knowledge.
