In a step reflecting the University's commitment to expanding its international partnerships and enhancing opportunities for academic and student exchange with leading global institutions, Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) has signed two academic agreements with Oakland University in the United States.
The first agreement covers The American Semester Abroad Program (ASAP), which enables JUST students to study at Oakland University for one or two semesters. The program allows undergraduate students to subsequently count the completed credit hours toward their master's degree requirements, thereby enhancing their academic and cultural experiences and broadening their perspectives through international academic exchange.
The second agreement takes the form of an Articulation Agreement, which aims to regulate student mobility between the two institutions and facilitate the continuation of their academic studies in accordance with approved academic frameworks and standards. This agreement contributes to enhancing the quality of academic programs and provides flexible educational pathways for students.
Professor Khalid El-Salem, President of the University, affirmed that these agreements align with the University's strategic vision to strengthen international academic cooperation, enhance the competitiveness of its graduates, and provide distinguished educational opportunities for its students. This approach reflects the University's commitment to openness toward global educational institutions and the exchange of scientific and academic expertise.
