JUST Participates in the 12th Arab International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education
Jordan University of Science and Technology, represented by the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, took part in the 12th Arab International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, hosted by the University of Business and Technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of prominent experts and academics from across the Arab world.
The university was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Professor Salim Bani Hani, who presented a research paper examining the impact of faculty adherence to research ethics on global university rankings.
Professor Bani Hani showcased JUST's pioneering experience in adopting advanced policies and standards for responsible scientific research, as well as its implementation of leading ethical guidelines that support research quality. He emphasized that the university stands as a national and regional model in fostering a culture of responsible research. He also highlighted the university's inclusion among the world's top 500 universities and its achievement—this year, for the second consecutive time—of first place in the National Integrity Index, noting that these accomplishments reflect its deep commitment to ethical standards and comprehensive quality principles.
The university's participation in the conference aligns with its efforts to strengthen its academic and research presence in the Arab region, support quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to the advancement of the higher education system across the region.
