A scientific lecture in “Technology" about optical medical receptors
Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the Jordan University of Science and Technology hosted Professor Tariq Nabhan, Professor of Optometry at Saint Louis University in Missouri, USA and representative of VOSH International.
Who presented a specialized lecture entitled: “Medical Optics: Future Prospects and Humanitarian Applications."
The lecture included a review of the latest scientific developments in optometry and modern clinical applications, in addition to highlighting the humanitarian role of the specialty in supporting global initiatives for vision care and improving the quality of life of patients.
During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Professor Salim Bani Hani, in the presence of the Head of the Allied Medical Sciences Department, Dr. Ihab Khasawneh, stressed the College's keenness to enhance international cooperation and exchange academic experiences, and to raise the level of students' practical and research skills, in a way that contributes to enabling them to keep pace with the rapid scientific developments in their specializations.
For her part, Professor May Bakkar, the event coordinator, explained that organizing such specialized lectures comes within the college's efforts to provide an advanced educational environment that allows students to learn about global academic and practical experiences, and enhance their readiness for the labor market locally and internationally.
