The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Jordan concluded a series of introductory visits aimed at familiarizing school students with the college's academic programs and creative environment.

As part of these activities, the faculty recently hosted students from several schools, including International Bridges Academy Schools, the American University Schools of the Middle East, Aylona Kindergarten and School, Greek Catholics School, and Arab Episcopal School.

The events were inaugurated by Prof. Ahmed Freewan, Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the faculty's three departments:

  • The Department of Architecture.
  • The Department of Urban and Environmental Planning Engineering, which recently introduced two new tracks: Landscape Design and Smart Cities.
  • The Department of Design and Visual Communication, which added two new programs: Digital Films & Multimedia Technologies and Animation & Games Design

Following the welcoming session, students toured the faculty's facilities and visited the exhibition hall, where they explored a selection of students' projects from various academic levels.

The events were attended by Dr. BUSHRA OBEIDAT, Vice Dean; Arch. Rania Alrawwash, Arch. Deema Alshbool, and Mr. Deaa Karasneh, Assistant Deans, along with the heads of departments: Dr. Nermeen Al-Dalqamoni (Architecture), Dr. Yasmein Okour (Urban and Environmental Planning Engineering), and Dr. Sanaa Alrqaibat (Design and Visual Communication).

During the sessions, the department heads introduced their programs and highlighted the educational and creative opportunities available for students at the faculty. A number of current students also participated in welcoming the visitors and answering their questions.

These visits reflect the faculty's commitment to strengthening engagement with educational institutions and inspiring future generations to explore the fields of architecture, planning, and design.
