JUST and Engineers Association Sign Agreement to Boost Cooperation

Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in training, research, entrepreneurship, and engineering skill development. The goal is to better prepare engineering students for the job market and support community development.

The agreement was signed by JUST President Prof. Khalid El-Salem and JEA President Engineer Ahmad Samara Al-Zoubi, with representatives from both sides present.

Key areas of cooperation include hands-on training for students at JEA facilities, support for startups, joint projects, and sharing technical expertise. The partnership also allows use of university labs and business incubators to help young engineers and entrepreneurs.

Prof. El-Salem said the partnership aligns with the university's mission to connect education with market needs. Al-Zoubi emphasized the JEA's commitment to working with academic institutions to build a knowledge-based economy.

The agreement lasts for one year and will be reviewed to ensure goals are met.
