JUST, GJU, and HTU Establish Strategic Academic and Research Partnerships
November 25 - Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), German Jordanian University (GJU), and Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen academic collaboration and advance research initiatives.
The agreements were signed by Professor Khaled El-Salem, President of JUST; Professor Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of GJU; and Professor Ismail Al-Hinti, President of HTU. This partnership aims to foster innovation, enhance education, and align academic programs with the demands of the modern global job market.
The MoUs set the stage for a joint research project focusing on critical areas such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics. These efforts will be complemented by the development of academic programs designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the evolving demands of the workforce.
Key elements of the collaboration include:

-Establishing a robust knowledge-sharing network.
-Sharing expertise to enhance curricula in engineering and information technology fields.
-The three universities also agreed to form a joint committee to identify priorities in applied and technical research, aiming to support innovative projects jointly funded by the institutions.
Professor Khaled El-Salem emphasized the importance of these partnerships, particularly with prominent institutions like GJU and HTU. He described the collaboration as a model for academic and research excellence, enhancing innovation and equipping students with skills tailored to the digital era. He also noted that these agreements contribute to the global recognition of Jordanian universities through impactful research initiatives.
Professor Ismail Al-Hinti highlighted the significance of offering practical training opportunities that enable students to compete effectively in both local and global markets. He praised JUST's leadership in advancing technical education and research.
Professor Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli expressed pride in the partnership, reaffirming GJU's commitment to delivering top-tier academic programs and driving scientific research in Jordan.
