Dean Prof. Rola Alhabashneh said that Research Hub encourages academics and non-academics alike to interact in a public and collaborative manner. She added that this is considered as a starting point for the support and resources the college needs for conducting research, scholarly and creative activity at the University.
J.U.S.T. College of Dentistry advances health through scientific discovery, innovative education and the highest-quality care for the whole Jordanian community. Integrating Research into Education is one of the objectives that the college works on.
Dr Banan Al-Natour, the leader of the research hub, reported that these research activities at the College will help transform studies to techniques and products to improve oral health outcomes both in the clinic and the community.
Prof Al-Shaweesh presented his research experience in Jordan and Australia. He explained the importance of carrying out studies in Jordan; such as identifying a number of risks ranging from social backgrounds to individual compliance, to personalized health issues, when considered as part of the patient management plan, to improve overall care.
We wish that such activity at J.U.S.T. will help guide health policy making given current dental and oral public needs.
