Signing a Memorandum of Understanding and a Student Exchange Agreement between Jordan University of Science and Technology and Memorial University of Canada


Jordan University of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with the Canadian Memorial University of Newfoundland with the aim of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the academic and research fields. Prof. Khalid El-Salem, President of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, signed for Jordan University of Science and Technology side, and for the Canadian side, its president, Prof. Vianne Timmons, in the presence of the Canadian Ambassador to Jordan Donica Pottie, and the head of the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, Dr. Dhafer Al-Sarayrah.

The memorandum of understanding includes the exchange of faculty members, revitalization of research work between the two universities, holding specialized training programs, and joint supervision of graduate students. Through the memorandum of understanding, a student exchange agreement was signed between the two sides.
