Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) recognizes that Arab and international students have distinct needs and concerns that differ from those of other students. To address these needs, the university has established the Office for Arab and International Students (ISO) located on the ground floor of the Deanship of Student Affairs building. This office serves as the primary resource for Arab and international students, providing assistance with various matters, offering advice, and guiding them through their university experience.
The primary mission of the Office for Arab and International Students is to attract and support Arab and international students throughout their academic journey. The office provides essential services related to their legal status within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, including visa and residency permits.
The office is staffed by a team of skilled professionals who are committed to addressing any challenges faced by Arab and international students. They assist with obtaining residency permits and visas, ensure appropriate housing arrangements, and offer a range of cultural, social, and legal services. Additionally, the office organizes and oversees recreational and educational trips to help students explore different regions and tourist attractions within Jordan.
Under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs, the office actively participates in national celebrations of students' home countries and arranges meetings with the university president and cultural attachés from their respective countries. These meetings provide a platform for students to share their feedback and suggestions.
The Office for Arab and International Students is open during regular working hours (Sunday to Thursday) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and welcomes students seeking assistance or guidance.
