Submission
This page provides you with all the information required to complete your paper registration and submit it for inclusion in the proceedings. Here are the steps you must follow:

Please see the reviewers' comments on your paper. These comments are intended to help you to improve your paper for final publication. The listed comments should be addressed, as final acceptance is conditional upon appropriate response to the requirements and comments. The conference committee retains a list of certain critical comments to be addressed by authors in the camera-ready version. Also please adhere to the formatting instructions carefully (details are in Paragraph 4 below).

Please review the data you entered in Easychair for your paper and ensure that it matches your paper accurately. Particularly, ensure that the title, author names, and affiliations, authors order, email addresses, abstract, corresponding author and keywords match your paper.

One of the author(s) has to register by paying required registration fee. Deadline for author registration is the May 12th 2022. Online registration is available using your paper ID. Please check below the registration instruction and fees.

IMPORTANT: Each paper must have a corresponding registered author to be included in the proceedings. Papers that do not have an associated registered author will not be included in the proceedings. So, register by the author registration deadline to ensure that your paper is included in the proceedings. Registering late may mean that your paper may not appear in the proceedings. Please ensure that you complete your registration early. For any question concerning the registration, please email: icics@just.edu.jo

Please prepare your manuscript for final camera ready submission following the same PDF format guidelines as for the initial submission. Papers are limited to SIX (6) pages in length, must be IEEE Xplore-compatible, and must follow the formatting instructions provided at the ICICS 2022 website at the link below. It is mandatory that your paper is formatted for standard A4 size paper using IEEE conference proceedings templates. If your initial submission didn't use these templates, you MUST rebuild your paper using these templates.

The submitted PDF file must be prepared/checked using IEEE PDF eXpress Plus. Detailed instructions for the preparation of camera-ready and submitting the final version are available at the end of this document.


Final papers and the all package MUST be submitted by May 12th 2022 to Easychair system:

You must complete and submit the required IEEE Copyright Transfer Form to have your paper included in the conference proceedings. One of the corresponding authors will get an email to complete the eCF. Please submit a copy of your eCF in the final camera-ready package to Easychair system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icics20221 

IMPORTANT: No paper can be published in the proceedings without being accompanied by a completed IEEE Copyright Form.

Pay the fees. Then, submit your package as one zip file to Easychair system. The one zip archive including: wire transfer slip along with the camera ready and copyright.

For traveling to attend ICICS 2020, please allow extra time for travel planning, getting visa, etc. Attendees visiting Jordan should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements. 

The conference program will be announced after the Final Submissions and Registrations deadline. A registered author must present the paper in the assigned session.

please email The 13th International Conference on Information and Communication Systems (ICICS 2022) is a forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners to present their latest research results, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of Computer and Information Sciences. The topics that will be covered in the ICICS 2022 include, but are not limited to: Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing, Networking, Information Security and Cryptography, Intrusion Detection and Computer Forensics, Web Content Mining, Bioinformatics and IT Applications, Database Technology, Systems Integration, Information Systems Analysis and Specification, Communications, and Human-Computer Interaction.

We are pleased to invite you to submit original contributions to ICICS 2022 via the official submission system at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icics20221.. This can include, technical and experimental, theoretical, conceptual, or a survey. All submissions will be peer-reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, importance, and clarity.

Submissions Guidelines and Proceedings

Manuscripts should be prepared in 10-point font using the IEEE 8.5" x 11" two-column format (IEEE Templates). All papers should be in PDF format and submitted electronically at Paper Submission Link. A full paper must not exceed the stated length (including all figures, tables and references). Submitted papers must present original unpublished research that is not currently under review for any other conference or journal. Papers not following these guidelines may be rejected without review. Also submissions received after the due date, exceeding length limit, or not appropriately structured may also not be considered. Authors may contact the Program Chair for further information or clarification.

All submissions are peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers. Accepted papers will appear in the ICICS Proceeding and to be submitted to IEEE Xplore for inclusion. The proceedings are also submitted for indexing to EI (Compendex), Scopus and other indexing services like DBLP.

Submitted papers must include original work, and must not be under consideration for another conference or journal. Submission of regular papers must not exceed 6 pages and must follow the IEEE paper format. Please include up to 7 keywords, complete postal and e-mail address, and fax and phone numbers of the corresponding author. Authors of accepted papers are expected to present their work at the conference physically or virtually depends on the epidemic status.

Each paper requires at least one participant (regular or student) to register before it is included in the proceedings. Registration and payment must be received before May 12th to benefit from the reduced $500 full registration fees. Registering late may mean that your paper may not appear in the proceedings or extra fees will be applied.
Registration can be via wire transfer or by credit card. Please make sure that your name, paper number and conference name (ICICS'22) appear on the slip. The below instructions are essential to ensure that you comply with the publication requirements set by IEEE for your paper(s) to be included in the conference proceedings and published and indexed by IEEE.
Note that you should register your paper(s), before starting submitting your camera-ready package.

Step 1:  Final Paper Preparation and Format

Make sure you modify your paper according to the reviewer’s comments. Failure to do so may lead to your paper removal from the final proceedings. You should follow the following formatting guidelines. All papers should be in PDF format. A full paper must be of maximum length of 6 pages (including all figures, tables, and references). Please make use of the appropriate IEEE template for conference proceedings, to prepare your revised manuscript. IEEE templates can be found at https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

Unless there are six authors or more give all authors’ names; do not use “et al.”. Papers that have not been published, even if they have been submitted for publication, should be cited as “unpublished” [4]. Papers that have been accepted for publication should be cited as “in press” [5]. Capitalize only the first word in a paper title, except for proper nouns and element symbols.

Step 2: IEEE PDF eXpress

Note that the Camera-Ready paper version needs to be IEEE PDF eXpress compatible, otherwise, your paper will not go through the camera-ready submission system. To test and convert your paper to IEEE PDF eXpress compatible version, you should upload it to the conference dedicated IEEE PDF eXpress website. Your paper acceptance notification email will also include the conference ID needed for the IEEE PDF eXpress. You will need to follow these instructions to convert your paper:

  • Previous users of PDF eXpress:
    1. Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/
    2. Enter the following:
      • 55353X for the Conference ID
      • your email address
      • your password
    3. Continue to enter information as prompted and upload your PDF file. An Online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent once the IEEE PDF eXpress approved paper is created. You need to download this approved version.
  • First-time users should do the following:
    1. Select Create Account - https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/signup .
    2. Enter the following:
      • 55353X for the Conference ID
      • your email address
      • a password
    3. Continue to enter information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup. upload your PDF file. An Online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent once the IEEE PDF eXpress approved paper is created. You need to download this approved version.

Please follow these steps to complete submitting the package including the camera-ready:
